The doctors at the Center for Fertility and Gynecology spend quality time with their patients in order to learn about their condition and their goals in order to provide individualized care.
HOST SPEAKER: As one of the leading providers of infertility treatment and fertility care in the Los Angeles, California area as well as the rest of the United States, the Center for Fertility and Gynecology recognize that infertility is a deeply personal issue-affecting couples in all areas of their lives.
DR. DICHAEL VERMESH: We alleviate their fears and anxieties; even during the first appointment, by showing them that we understand where they're coming from, we know what we’re doing.
DYou come here, you feel very stressed. There is so much into it, and I think our office in that is very accommodating. It's a great atmosphere just walking in and that was a way it was built. Our staff is very welcoming. We know our patients very, very well.
Taking control of the situation is invariably a soothing step for them.
DR. MICHAEL VERMESH: They feel that they've finally arrived at the right place. That's where they want to be treated and that's part of the treatment itself.
Each patient is unique; whether we're talking female, male or a couple. They are unique in their diagnosis; they are unique in why they come here, what they desire.
We spend a lot time with our patients. We get to know the people; we get to know their history.
DR. MICHAEL VERMESH: We schedule the patients in such a way that they don't feel rushed, so that we can learn as much as possible about their condition, so that we can individualize their care, so that they can get continuity of care.
I always look at two aspects; there is obviously the physical one and the psychological too. What patient is willing to go through, how aggressive they want to be.
It's important that we realize what is unique about you, and how you're going to respond to medication and stimulation and our treatments.
We have to really look at the patient and see what's best for them.
HOST SPEAKER: The success rate of the Center for Fertility and Gynecology are consistently among the best in the country.
I think our high success rate is a combination of our commitment to the patients, our ability to look outside the box, and really find the right treatment for each couple. And the very intimate atmosphere here and encouragement--
We have a lot of experience to draw on. And when you combine making sure that every detail is right and you look back on your experience and compare it to things that happened in the past, it's kind of simple that you're going to have the best outcome.
We have on top of everything an amazing lab.
DR. MICHAEL VERMESH: When you put those together, when you put a good laboratory and care for the patient, and time spent with the patient, you get this magic formula that leads to success. This office is known to be a sort of last resort for many patients.
Our clinic is actually highly specialized in more difficult cases that fail in other clinics or older patients. And we'll offer different treatments the other centers don't.
DR. MICHAEL VERMESH: Our success rates with women over the age of 40 are among the highest in the nation. They're about twice the average. When a patient comes here who has failed other places, I spend a long time reviewing the records to try to find the weaknesses in her treatment before so that I can address those, so I can correct them.
I've been doing this for 25 years and I look forward to every day, the new patients that I can help.
I say to all the fertility patients once you decided you want to be a parent, we'll get there in one way or another. And as long as you believe in that and never give up, because we will not give up, it will work.
HOST SPEAKER: the experts at the Center for Fertility and Gynecology assure you that through each step of your care they will provide state of the art treatment under the safest and most professional conditions.
