Our practice is led by Dr. Michael Vermesh, who founded the Center for Fertility and Gynecology in 1987 and serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Southern California, and Dr. Tannaz Toloubeydokhti, a published researcher whose work spans PCOS, endometriosis, oncofertility, and LGBTQ family building. Both hold double board certifications in OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, and their combined clinical experience covers everything from routine evaluations to the most complex fertility cases.
An Embryology Lab Built to the Highest Standards
Every egg retrieval, fertilization, and embryo transfer at our practice is supported by a purpose-built IVF laboratory in Encino. The facility holds accreditation from the College of American Pathologists and is equipped with RI Witness™, a radio frequency identification system that verifies the identity of every sample at each handoff point. The lab was constructed from the ground up with an advanced air filtration system and isolated culture environment designed to protect the integrity of every specimen in our care.

Our IVF pregnancy rates consistently surpass national averages: 69% for patients ages 35 to 37 (versus 36% nationally) and 48% for patients ages 38 to 40 (versus 23% nationally). These figures are not curated.
